He has more than 36 years of experience in Groundwater Flow Modelling, Groundwater Pollution and Vulnerability, Hydrogeological Investigations, Isotope Hydrology, Groundwater Dating, Surface Water – Groundwater Interaction, Groundwater Management, GIS Applications in Groundwater, Mining Hydrology, Spring Hydrology, etc. •        Expert: Nominated by Supreme Court of India as “Expert Hydrogeologist to assist NDRF for protection of coal miners trapped in rat-hole mines in East Jaintia Hills District of Meghalaya”. (2019). He has been, Member: Monitoring Committee & Task Group to collect/ compile metadata of all springs in hilly states, Constituted by MoWR, RD & GR, Govt. of India (2019),          Core Committee Member: Ministry of Earth Sciences sponsored project “Unravelling Submarine Groundwater Discharge (SGD) zones along the Indian subcontinent and its islands (Mission-SGD)”, National Centre for Earth Sciences Studies, Trivandrum.
